1. Download HEC-RAS (the executable program and the manual) and make sure it will function on the computer you are using for this class. (Hint: On your web browser search for Hydrologic Engineering Center Davis California. Then, go to software.)
It appears to work. I loaded a sample project at random, hit run, and it did stuff.
