Problems:

1. ✔Download HEC-RAS (the executable program and the manual) and make sure it will function on the computer you are using for this class. (Hint: On your web browser search for Hydrologic Engineering Center Davis California. Then, go to software.)
2. Estimate the value of the Manning resistance coefficient for the reaches of Leon Creek both upstream and downstream of the UTSA crossing of this channel. Be sure to estimate a value for the main channel and the floodplain associated with the main channel. Define what you mean by left and right. The submittal is your estimates along and a brief discussion of how you arrived at these estimates. In doing this please 1) be careful and 2) respect private property.
